What to Expect on Your First Visit
-
We send your intake forms ahead of time so you can fill them out at home. It saves you the clipboard in the waiting room and gives us a head start on your history before you arrive.
-
Someone will walk you through the office, show you where everything is and introduce you to the team. Two minutes, but it makes the rest of the visit feel a lot less clinical.
-
This is where you talk and we listen. What hurts, how long it has been going on, what you have already tried, and what you are hoping to get back to doing. There are no wrong answers here.
-
A full assessment of how your spine is moving and how well your nervous system is communicating. This is the part most people have never had done before, and it is where we find what is actually driving the problem.
-
When imaging is warranted, we take digital X-rays so we can see the structure of your spine rather than guess at it.
-
You come back and we walk you through everything we found, in plain language, with your images on the screen. We will tell you whether we can help, what care would look like, how long it would take and what it costs. Then you decide.
-
Once you are ready, we start care. You will know what each visit is for and how we are tracking progress. The goal is not to keep you coming forever. It is to get you well and teach you how to stay that way.
